The price
is not
the cost.

1. We always like to think that we are selling premium service, but in fact we are not. We are selling the same thing that other people are selling. What we are actually trying to sell is the ‘trustworthiness’. The job of the salesmen is getting the trust from customer. (thus enable to set price higher than market standard).

2. We must know the customers of the customer, in order to ask better questions, and thus sell better.

de betaler is koning

Operations people don’t have control over the situation, and they don’t have anything and do not own the asset, warehouse is not owned by them, labors can get sick, machine can breakdown, etc.
Good operations is about anticipating. They are prepared for the doomsday.

There are two people that you shall not lie to; one is the doctor, and another one is the lawyer. You should not lie to these two people. And I could be your doctor and your lawyer, depend on the situation.

People will kill you over time, and how they’ll kill you is with tiny, harmless phrases, like “be realistic”.
People who believe they’ll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, learn it doesn’t work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you.
1. A dollar saved is a dollar earned.
2. Every Dollar counts.
3. Every Idea counts.
and that refers to those ‘Ideas’ to cut the cost and save the dollar.
